RETURN

The time has come for christians to return to the Lord.  We claim to love Him and we claim to believe in Him, in His death and resurrection, but we walk through the life He has given us so complacent.  We allow our minds to be deceived and tricked into a worldly, distorted view of grace.  I am not saying we are not forgiven for our failures, but we do not have the right to live as we please and claim to love God. Nonbelievers are watching us more than ever. They are watching our behaviors and how we respond to circumstances around us. Even in our beliefs in politics. It is time to really stand up for our Lord.  For years, I have prayed for God to reveal His will in my life.  I now realize He did that thousands of years ago when He sent His one and only son Jesus to die on that cross, so that I may live to tell His story.  Not only the story of salvation, but the story of how He saved me and pulled me out of a deep, dark place.  Just like the prophets who God used to preach about His will for His children.  They warned, begged, cried out, and died for the story of a Messiah to come.  Jesus is the reason and the why.  There isn’t any other reason we were created.  To lead as many to Jesus as we can.  Not in our perfection, because that is impossible.  But in the perfection of our SAVIOR!  Christians, we can’t control the decisions others make, but we have a God who can!  He asks us over and over to RETURN to Him!   Return to Him in our relationships.  Return to Him in our work.  Return to Him in our choices and decisions.  Isn’t He worth that?  After everything He has done for us time after time? RETURN until we are glorified by the Lord, Himself.  Remain in Him.  Stop being fickle and fleshly.  Yield to God.  God is the only way.

Philippians 2:14-16, “Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

Dear Lord,  Thank you for Your faithfulness and grace.  Thank you for loving me despite my  failures and my fickleness.  Help me to stand up and return to Your ways and will for my life.  Time is of the essence.  Love, Me.
