Sitting outside this morning I had the privilege of listening to my bird friends sing their praises to the Lord. I just love the songs they make every morning. The past few days the weather has been beautiful and their songs have been a cheerful tune. However, this morning you can tell they are preparing for the rain. Rain or shine they still offer up their praise while they are preparing. We have a lot to learn from God’s small but magnificent creations. God yearns for our praises as well! Our praises should come naturally every morning, just like the birds in the trees. Our praises should come before the storms, during the storms, and after the storms. Every breath we have should cry out songs of thanksgiving for the many blessings God has given us. We should shout out praises of remembrance for the times He has mounted us up like eagles so that we could run the race set before us. I can’t imagine going through a day without the guidance and comfort of our Father. I would fail tragically! So, this morning and every morning, I will make a point to praise Him! For He is worthy to be praised! Praise the Lord for He has done great things! Praise the Lord for His mercy endures forever. Praise the Lord for I can face tomorrow! Praise Him for whom all blessings flow! Hallelujah and Amen!
Psalms 95:1-6 New King James Version (NKJV)
Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, And the great King above all gods.
