Easter~My cup runneth over!

The week before resurrection Sunday always brings me joy!  My heart is overflowing with praise and thanksgiving as I think about the love our Savior has for us.  Jesus loved us  so much that He chose to die the most horrific death so that we might be saved.  Moreover, my cup runneth over because He kept His promise.  He did not let satan win!  He rose again and if we believe and accept Him as our Lord and Savior, He lives in us and walks with us.  It has to be the most peaceful assurance to be a child of the King.  For we know that one day we too will be resurrected from this earth.  All of our sickness and pain will exist no more!  We will get to spend all eternity with our Lord.  We will see Him face to face and get to bow before Him!  Hallelujah!  For He is worthy of our praise!  So, some may dwell on the fact that Easter was not originally  a christian holiday, and that it has been commercialized with bunnies and eggs, but I choose  to be glad that we have set aside this time to celebrate such a worthy Savior, and I pray that christians continue to use all facets to spread the truth of Christ’s love for all the whosoevers that He loves so much!
